The department has 12 full-time teachers and 2 part-time teachers, of which 2 are Doctors of Science and 8 are PhD (candidates of science).

- specialty 1-51 01 01 Geology and exploration of mineral deposits with the qualification "Engineer-geologist";

- specialty 1-51 80 04 Geology, the profile “General and regional geology” with the degree of "Master of Sciences".
